The Garden Media Guild

Sponsorship opportunities

Britain’s garden writers, editors, broadcasters and photographers would like to see your name in lights at the Garden Media Guild 2008 Awards Lunch.

It would be impossible to stage the Annual Awards without the generous sponsorship support of many of the companies and institutions that serve our industry.

If your organisation would like to be prominently associated with this prestigeous event and thereby help the Guild to promote ever higher standards of print, broadcast and multimedia communications in the gardening media please let us know by completing the form below or by contacting the Sponsorship Secretary Gill Thomas by telephone (01489 572009) or e-mail.

For a modest outlay, your name and/or logo can be attached to one of the 19 Guild Awards – the 'Oscars' of the garden media world – which will be announced and presented at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on November 20, 2008 in front of over 400 Guild members and guests.

As an Award sponsor, you will be entitled to up to 8 tickets for the Awards Lunch – the social highlight of the gardening media calendar – and you will join the MC on stage to make the presentation to the winner.

Your name will be everywhere: on screen, in the script, on the framed Award certificate, on posters, on the lunch menu, in the Guild’s press pack and on the Guild’s website. And throughout the reception, lunch and afternoon tea, you and your guests will be able to socialise with many of our leading garden writers, editors, broadcasters and producers in a uniquely relaxing atmosphere.

Even if you aren’t able to sponsor one of the main Awards, there are other ways to link your organisation with this non-profit-making event, thereby generating goodwill while helping to advance the standards of gardening communications in the British media.

And there are options to make a display and/or hand out samples – with ideal timing for the 2009 season.

Event sponsorship can cost as little as £400 while sponsoring one of the Awards costs from £2,850.

There are still some sponsorship packages available for the 2008 Awards Lunch on November 20 and the Guild hopes to have the pleasure of your company.
