The Guild produces an annual Yearbook, containing full details of all its members, plus associated and useful information.
The Yearbook is free to Full Members, Retired
Members, Probationer Members and Overseas Members and is available to Associate Members
at the reduced cost of £75 - a saving of £75 on the
normal price.
Cost to
non-members: The Yearbook costs £150 to non-GWG members
and is available by contacting
the Guild.
The Yearbook's
principal purposes are to:
PROMOTE
members by giving their personal details, experience and special
subjects, with photograph. It is understood that some members
may wish to keep, for instance, phone numbers confidential. It
is hoped to have this information also available here on the website.
MAKE
contacts more accessible by listing potential clients (book, magazine
and newspaper publishers, programme makers, etc) and industry
contacts.
HELP
members solve professional problems by providing information about
specialist advisers - such as accountants.
The Yearbook
contains more than 120 pages and is a constant source of
information and reference for gardening media and all who work
with them. It also enables those commissioning work to identify
the Guild members most suited to their needs by, for instance,
specialist knowledge or geographical location.
If it is too late for new members to be
included in the next issue their details will be printed in the
bimonthly Newsletter - GMG News - and will be included
in future issues.
Each year
members will receive a reminder for updating their information
with the annual members' Subscription Form.
Photos can be included if members wish - and we recommend that
they are - and can be submitted in colour or monochrome, but will
be published passport-size in monochrome.
The GMG is indebted to Committee members
who put the Yearbook together.
