Non designs thoughtful and atmospheric gardens through her design practice, A well as a wide range of private gardens in London, Suffolk, Oxfordshire and Sussex, public projects include the Fox Garden at the South London Gallery and schemes for a new public library in Kensington and for the church of St Mary The Boltons in South Kensington. Her own garden has been featured in House&Garden; and The English Garden. Non writes regularly about gardens for Country Life, House & Garden, Gardens Illustrated and has a monthly column in The English Garden Magazine. She was recommended as one of three 'gardening bloggers you should be following' by Francine Raymond in the Sunday Telegraph and her blog The Dahlia Papers ( was also recommended by Rachel de Thame in the Sunday Times. The Dahlia Papers was a runner up for GMG Garden Blog of the Year in 2016. She was a Trustee and Garden Committee member at Fullers Mill, Suffolk, one of three Perennial gardens, for 7 years until January 2018. Non was commissioned by the Garden Museum to write Mollie Salisbury: Portrait of a Gardener, a memoir of the late Dowager Marchioness of Salisbury which was published in 2019. She is holding a series of conversations at the Garden Museum and the Garden Museum Literary Festival with the makers of inspiring private gardens. She is currently researching and developing a book idea that will take her out into the wild and back across literature and art and the history of gardens.
