DESCRIPTION:Garden Visit: The Caley (Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society), Edinburgh\n\nFriday 7th November, 11am \n\nFollowing on from our Scottish visit to Dundee in May, we're planning another get together for members in Scotland, plus of course anyone who's keen to travel north! \n\nWe'll be visiting The Caley (The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society) at Saughton Park in Edinburgh 11am-1pm on Friday 7th November. Saughton Park in the south-west of the city is the Caley's base in Scotland, with teaching gardens, a demonstration garden, glasshouse and an impressive Winter Border. \n\nCheck out this article for a taster of what to expect from the planting: Winter Border at Saughton Park.\n\nPresident Lewis Normand and Vice President MT O’Donnell will join us, to tell us more about the work of The Caley. \n\nWe’ll meet at The McHattie Room from 10.30am for tea/coffee, the visit will start around 11am and is expected to last around 2 hours. There should be time to explore the wider park too, and there’s a cafe on site if anyone wants to stay on for lunch (and more chatting!) after the visit. \n\nWe’re looking forward to getting together again to find out more about the home of horticulture in Scotland! \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n
