DESCRIPTION:National Trust Trengwainton is set between the moors and the sea. Ten sections of walled gardens are filled with tropical ornamental plants that was begun in 1815 by Sir Rose Price. This award-winning plant collection features species from across the globe - some of which flowered here for the first time in the British Isles!\n\n \n\nWinding wooded paths follow a half-mile incline to sea views across Mount's Bay and the descent via the drive is bordered by a stream garden and open meadows. See bromeliads, fuchsia trees, tree ferns and begonias, alongside many other unusual plants. \n\n \n\nGarden Media Guild members will enjoy a tour by Head Gardener, Tom Bush for 2-2.5 hours. We meet at 10am on Wednesday 16th September.
