Our next Ask Me Anything features journalist, author and editor Ciar Byrne, taking place on Wednesday 27 May at 6.30pm via Zoom.
Ciar has been a journalist for over 25 years, with staff roles at The Independent, The Guardian and Private Eye before specialising in gardening and horticulture. She writes a weekly gardening column for the Daily Mail and contributes to Gardens Illustrated.
Earlier this year, Ciar became launch editor of Homegrown Kitchen, a new monthly magazine from Key Publishing aimed at growers and home cooks. She is also a published novelist and one of our very own GMG committee members!
During the session, Ciar will talk about her career across national journalism and garden media, the process of launching a new magazine, and writing fiction alongside editorial work. Come along and pose your questions on any aspect of her career.
