Webinar: Pitching to magazine editors
Monday 21 September, 6.30pm on Zoom
Kicking off our autumn webinars we are pleased to invite members to a webinar on pitching to magazines, led by journalist, author and podcaster Jane Perrone, on Monday 21 September at 6.30pm.
Jane brings bags of media experience to the session: she has worked as gardening editor at The Guardian, and is currently a freelance journalist whose work appears regularly in the Financial Times, Gardens Illustrated, RHS The Garden and The English Garden, among many other publications.
The session will open with a presentation from Jane on how to pitch effectively to magazine editors, followed by a Q&A.
Knowing how to pitch your best stories is a valuable skill, and it doesn’t have to be an obstacle to getting your writing into print. Jane will break down the process and demystify this important part of working with gardening magazines and their editors. Whether you are early in your career or looking to break into new titles, this session offers practical, first-hand guidance from someone with great experience in the field.
The webinar is free to attend for all GMG members – to register, please follow this link:
