After a fantastic event in 2017, we're returning to BBC Gardeners’ World Live with a networking event, starting at 3pm. This year’s show has a focus on making every inch of the garden amazing, and includes 11 show gardens, two small gardens, more than twenty Beautiful Borders and more than 100 places selling plants.
Upon arrival, we’ll get a chance to relax with refreshments in the Gardeners’ Restaurant, in the heart of the show gardens where we’ll be joined by key members of the horticultural and assessment teams before starting our meet up. When our meeting ends, you’ll be free to look around the show gardens and a number of the designers and landscapers will be present to chat through them. At 5pm, you are invited to join the Drinks Reception for the Press Preview and attend the awards ceremony at 5:30pm, which includes the announcement of the winner of the inaugural Young Landscapers Award.
If you visit the show you’ll experience the incredible walk-through Wyevale Garden Centres Solutions Garden designed by David Stevens, the Tesco Every Little Helps Garden, five inspirational APL Avenue Show Gardens based on real back garden scenarios, the two Young Landscapers Award gardens designed by Diarmuid Gavin, the first ever steam train within a Show Garden will be ‘in steam’ as part of Paul Stone’s latest show stopper Made In Birmingham, and much more! The show will be packed with new planting combinations, great design ideas, and new concepts for how even the smallest garden can be a wonderful space to be enjoyed all year round.
If You would like to attend this event, please e-mail GMG Committee member Ian Thwaites.
You will also need to apply for a Press Pass to attend the show.
