This award is for a photographer who best illustrates editorial features, producing themed portfolios that capture their subjects so effectively that captions are barely necessary. To enter, you must submit three different features.
For photographic work that has been published between Friday, 29th August 2025 and Thursday, 27th August 2026. Each image must be accompanied by a verifiable reference, e.g. publication name and date or URL.
The winning photographer's images will stand out for their composition, lighting and impact. The images will bring the story to life and celebrate current standards of excellence in professional garden photography. Judges will consider the demonstration of technical skills including composition, use of light, depth of field and relevance of the images to each story.

Entry is open to all and is free to GMG members; a fee of £45 is applicable to non-member entrants.
