For an outstanding piece of work by a writer, author, blogger, podcaster, vlogger, broadcaster or social media communicator, bringing widespread attention to a pressing horticultural or gardening issue which relates to the environment.
For material published between Friday, 30th August 2024 and Thursday, 28th August 2025.
The winning entry will be so inspiring, informative or entertaining that it promotes a positive change towards more sustainable, environmentally-friendly indoor or outdoor gardening. This award is named for one of the most influential gardeners of the past century, whose writing and style of gardening changed the way we think about our gardens and is sponsored by the educational trust that is committed to continuing her work.
Campaigns, including PR campaigns, are not eligible, but an outstanding piece of work in an appropriate campaign, such as a feature, post, video or podcast episode, can be entered and its role in the campaign can be part of the supporting application.
Entry is open to all and is free to GMG members; a fee of £45 is applicable to non-member entrants.
