Biography

Freelance writer Sue Fisher's extensive horticultural career spans over 40 years: her training and a decade in the horticultural trade gave her a,thorough grounding for her subsequent development as a writer and speaker. Sue is a regular contributor to Garden Answers and BBC Gardeners' World. She has written a dozen books, including Growing up the Wall: how to grow edibles in living walls and small spaces; Garden Colour; Fast Plants; Essential Plants for Small Gardens; Scented Containers; The Hanging Garden; BBC Complete Book of Water Gardens, and Gardening Which Patio and Container Plants. Sue has also co-authored books with Carol Klein, the Ground Force team and the late Geoff Hamilton. Sue is also a regular speaker to garden clubs and societies in the South West, and leads gardening tours for Brookland Travel.
