Home Guild Members Mr Scott MacCallum Specialities Editor Videographer Writer: Trade & Professional Mr Scott MacCallum Full Member Biography I have been a working journalist for over 40 years, initially as a news reporter for the Dundee-based Courier, before moving into specialist golf writing. Having spent 17 years working for BIGGA writing on the maintenance of golf courses, I launched my own publication Turf Matters in 2014 following that up with Landscaping Matters in 2022. In between, lived on Islay for four years where I had a number of extra jobs including editing the local newspaper, tour guide in a distillery, counting geese and lecturing in journalism at the local college. Additional Interests I am a keen but pretty inadequate golfer, despite being at it for over 50 years. We have a very lovable golden labrador called Mungo who gets us out of the house and walking around the local area which is wonderful for our well-being.
