Biography

Gillian is an experienced horticultural speaker , writer and plantswoman. In her work she aims to encourage sustainable and pollinator friendly planting schemes. She runs workshops and collaborates with her clients to increase their knowledge, practical skills and enjoyment of horticulture. She relishes the challenge of having two gardens, 200 miles apart, one in Hampshire and one in Northern France. She is a member of an RHS Trials Forum and an International Rose Trials judge. Gillian also volunteers as a National Collection Coordinator and Plant Guardian for Plant Heritage. She writes regularly for The Landscaper Magazine.

Garden history : exploring gardens and writing about them, a member of the Gardens Trust and county branches, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Member of Professional Gardeners Guild BALI Chalk Fund Champion Perennial Fellow Liveryman in the Worshipful Company of Gardeners
