Biography

I am a garden, horticultural, and landscape photographer with a passion for capturing the connection between people, place, and nature. My work explores the beauty, structure, and atmosphere of designed landscapes, from show gardens to historic estates and community green spaces. As former Director of Gardens at the RHS, I gained a deep understanding of how thoughtful design, planting, and care shape wellbeing, biodiversity, and visual harmony. This perspective underpins my approach behind the camera, where I seek to reveal the intent and emotion within every landscape. A graduate of the British Academy of Photography and certified drone operator, I combine technical skill with creative sensitivity to produce imagery that celebrates horticultural craft and design excellence.

Additional Interests

Alongside my garden and landscape photography, I work with designers, charities and businesses across the creative and built environment sectors. My architectural photography explores the relationship between structure, space and landscape, while my environmental portraits capture people within the gardens and settings that inspire them. I create cohesive visual stories for press portfolios and digital platforms, combining photography, PR support and web design to help clients communicate their identity and connection to place with the same care and creativity that defines my horticultural work.
