Biography

I’m currently working freelance as a garden writer and educator for trade and consumer publications (Which? Gardening and Horticulture Week) and as a Professional Associate for the Royal Horticultural Society. I’ve worked in the botanic, heritage, horticulture education, and parks’ sectors for 15 years, including 5 years’ senior management in horticulture and garden design education and community engagement and landscape project management for a London Local Authority. I’m a passionate supporter of high-quality, public realm green spaces and urban green heritage. I’m a UK and International Green Flag Judge. I've been a member of the RHS Qualifications Advisory Group since 2018 I became an Ofqual Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture) in June 2023
