Biography

I have worked in Horticulture for over 30 years in various different ways including as a Horticultural Advisor at RHS Wisley, and am now a Horticultural Consultant. My particular passion is sustainable gardening practice and moving gardens towards coping better with the challenges of climate breakdown. I write gardening columns for local Parish Magazines informing readers about how to make their gardens more sustainable and I give talks about Sustainable Gardening in our Changing Climate. I also volunteer with the Inspiring The Future campaign, talking to primary and secondary school children about my career and why nature and gardens are so important for us all. Over the past year I have become very active with local Climate Action Networks, introducing one to another and sharing information firmly believing we are 'stronger together'.

Additional Interests

I give talks on Sustainable Gardening in our Changing Climate; Composting and worm bins and Bringing wildlife into your garden. I sing in a choir. I am an Environmentalist. I do Christmas House Dressing for clients.
