Biography

I specialise in photographing flowers and gardens on location using natural light. I love collaborating with authors, gardeners, designers and publishers and have been fortunate to work with many of the top garden writers including Sarah Raven, Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein, Christopher Lloyd and Nick Bailey. I have been sole photographer on over 30 books, as well as contributing to a wide range of magazines and newspapers worldwide. Awards have included the Garden Media Guild Garden Photographer of the Year, Features Photographer of the Year and Single Image of the Year. I also enjoy working with commercial clients such as Sarah Raven Kitchen and Garden and David Austin Roses to produce high quality brand imagery for use in catalogues and online. In addition to commissioned work, I have a garden photolibrary with thousands of images of flowers, plant combinations and borders as well as a broad range of garden details.
