She is the co-founder of Alma | Proust, a design-led, seed-focused flower farm specialising in useful, beautiful and climate-attuned cut flower varieties. A flower farmer for over a decade and a seed grower for eight years, Milli now helps curate a collection of more than 200 seed varieties selected for exceptional performance in both flower farming and floral design. Sweet peas are a particular passion, with over 50 varieties grown for seed at the Sussex farm, alongside ongoing seasonal trials to uncover new and unusual cut-flower gems. She has written four books on flower growing, seed propagation, gardening, and floral design. Additional Interests Through Alma | Proust’s developing breeding programme, she is working to bring new cultivars into existence, contributing to the future diversity of flowers available to growers and designers.
