Biography

Carolyn is a botanical stylist and an RHS award-winning planting designer. She writes widely about plants and flowers and is the author of Urban Flowers (Frances Lincoln, 2017) Cut & Dry (Laurence King, 2021) which won best practical book at the Garden Media Guild Awards in 2021, and A Floral Feast (Pimpernel Press/Gemini Books 2024). She trained at the Inchbald School of Garden Design and grows as many flowers as possible in her tiny garden in north London. She holds a silver medal for her cutting garden staged at RHS Hampton Court in 2016 .

Additional Interests

I run workshops for up to ten people at my home at different times of the year to create seasonal flower arrangements for each participant.
