Some people think that SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is too difficult or that it means tricking readers in some way. But, at its heart, SEO means being clear on what you’re writing about and structuring your posts in a logical way, so that readers (and search engines like Google!) can understand it easily. Now many social media platforms, such as Instagram and Tiktok, are looking to maximise their Search traffic, so join us for basic SEO tips and answers to your questions.
Laura Azcarraga of Meadowlark Journal will share the easy SEO tips she used to double her website traffic.
Laura's background is in digital marketing, having worked for leading tech companies, including Microsoft and Zillow.
Today she runs Meadowlark Journal, a successful website dedicated to modern gardening practices where she shares insights and tips on creating sustainable urban gardens.
It will be chaired by Alexandra Campbell, who uses SEO on her Middlesized Garden blog. Over half of the Middlesized Garden’s 1.3 million page views a year come from search engines, which is driven by using basic SEO principles.
