The Garden Media Guild are delighted to invite you to experience a behind the scenes look at the Rochford’s International Rose Trials held on behalf of UK and International rose breeders, both amateur & professional. Trailing seedling roses which are not yet in commerce, helping breeders with their breeding programmes.
The trials are judged by an experienced panel over 2 years after which time the top scoring roses receive awards.
Rochford’s are the only location in the UK to complete such trials, the trials use the WFRS (World Federation Rose Societies) standard judging criteria.
This year they are planting RIRT-7; our 7th trial.
Rochford’s would like to show you their roses and explain more about the importance of our work to the rose industry.
