Biography

Writer, speaker, editor and website contributor for consumer and contract magazines and national newspapers with over 20 years' experience. Specialism: practical gardening. Lectures at home and abroad. RHS Chelsea Flower Show Judge. Director and gardener at Stockton Bury Gardens, Herefordshire. Previously editor of The English Garden magazine and Deputy Editor of Amateur Gardening magazine. Passionate about supporting local and specialist nurseries and horticultural businesses. Additional Interests

Tamsin started her gardening career working alongside her great uncle John Treasure of Burford House Gardens in Tenbury Wells at the age of 16. She then went on to study at Sparsholt Horticultural College after which she became a parks gardener and greenkeeper. She is passionate about encouraging children and young adults to consider horticulture as a career option. Alongside her freelance lecturing and writing she is gardener at Stockton Bury which has been her families home and farm for six generations.She can occasionally be found herding sheep!
