A Distinction graduate of the London College of Garden Design, she was praised for her “originality of thought” and is now a Planting Designer in and around London. As a content creator, Sonya’s work blends horticultural expertise with inventive, story-led communication. She facilitates at ‘Plant Like an Artist’ workshops held in North London, built on the premise of ‘The Artist’s Way’ meets Garden Design. Additional Interests Currently building a garden of my own, "Kafka in the Forest", inspired by the Okinawan landscape, writer Haruki Murakami and time spent living in Japan. I also LOVE big-leaved plants which naturally requires frequent trips to far-off places, lol. I welcome collaborations with other content creators and, like most of us, enjoy a really good knees-up with gardening friends and wider friends alike.
