Biography

I’m a garden and plant photographer living and working in Kent and recently was awarded the lifetime achievement bar from the Guild of Photographers in the Natural World category, and Image of the Year in the Flora and Fauna category. This year I have received finalist, highly commended and commended awards in the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition, have been a finalist in the GMG Gordon Rae Garden Photographer of the Year and Close up Photographer of the Year competitions and won the 'Plants' category in the RHS Photography Competition. In addition to photographing plants, flowers and gardens I have written articles for magazines about photography for publications including Amateur Photographer magazine and Cameracraft. I am currently writing two books about gardens in Kent.

Additional Interests

I teach music at a Secondary School in Kent and play for various orchestras in Kent on an ad hoc basis.
