Biography

My book, The Little Grower's Cookbook, was published in March 2021, and was shortlisted for the GMA Garden Book of the Year. I run Grow Your Own workshops from my home and at other venues to do talks and workshops. I mainly teach growing from seed and showing peopIe that it doesn't have to cost the earth to grow fruit and veg. I appeared on Sarah Raven's podcast Grow, Cook, Eat, Arrange and on BBC Radio Devon. I am also a regular contributor to BBC Radio Sussex, Surrey and Kent as their 'Head Gardener'. I co-host 'Two Good Gardeners' podcast with Dan Cooper. It is a podcast for everyone who wants to enjoy growing their own flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Additional Interests

I was asked by Alitex to style a greenhouse using my sustainable growing and planting ideas for their RHS Chelsea Flower Show stand in September 2021 and Alitex asked me back to help create their stand in May, 2023, the theme was sustainable gardening, growing your own and showing how two greenhouses, one of which was off grid, can help explore your own growing potential. We won Best Tradestand by the RHS.
