Biography

I’m a wreath-maker/floral artist working with sustainability at the core. No floral foam, artificial dyes or chemicals. Largely self-taught, I learn by experimenting. Inspired by seaside, woodland, hedgerow, my designs are nature-led and seasonal. I have a love for twigs, seedheads, ageing, fading, dying stems; the more wild and wayward the better. I forage from my garden or locally, seldom buying anything in. This inspires and stretches me creatively. I have had my words and images featured in Preloved Magazine, (Winter '22/23 and Winter 23/24) a Homes and Interiors magazine dedicated to sustainability, inclusivity and community, highlighting creatives who share their ethos. Very happy to share a PDF of the articles.   I post my craft and process on Instagram and I welcome collaborations/opportunities to see my work in print. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, my Caribbean background occasionally factors in my writing.
