Biography

Tony O'Neill MCIHort FRSA is a vegetable growing expert, award-winning author and founder of Simplify Gardening, one of the most-watched independent growing channels in the English-speaking world. Growing food since 1981, with agricultural college training, he has built a worldwide audience of 455,000 YouTube subscribers and 35 million total views. His book Simplify Vegetable Gardening won the GardenComm Silver Laurels Media Award 2025 and reached No.1 on Amazon in the UK and USA. Cited as a horticultural expert in over 400 publications including Forbes, The Guardian, Homes and Gardens, Country Living and The Spruce.
