Biography

Chris has risen to prominence through developing his newbuild garden from zero skills on Instagram at ‘Groovygardeninguk’. Additionally after volunteering in private gardens and those of the National Trust, Chris is currently a Trainee Gardener at Easton Walled Gardens, Lincolnshire and soon to balance this with becoming the gardening lead for the Charity Autism East Midlands having swapped careers from chartered planning consultancy. Chris is a Greenfingers Charity Ambassador and PlantGrow Champion, and has found his destiny in gardening, developing his garden from scratch with a smile, supporting his loyal followers with tips and garden lives (sometimes with guests) and his signature 'cheerio' signoff on social media. Chris is an advocate for autistic gardeners and hopes this will continue as his career develops.
