Biography

I run my own garden maintenance, plant advice and design business in North Somerset working on a busy portfolio of country homes. I write weekly advice and take photos for Garden News magazine's 'What to do in the garden this week' team. I am Features Editor for Plantsmith's bi-weekly Houseplant Advice & Care blog and film regular plant care videos for Instagram and Tik Tok. I have written for The RHS, Homes & Gardens, Countryfile, Richard Jackson Garden, Ashridge Nurseries, gardening clubs, local and national magazines, newspapers and my diary blog.

Additional Interests

After art college I studied graphic design and photography, graduating with a media degree specialising in documentary making whilst becoming a PADI Divemaster which lead to a career in television and film specialising in underwater, undercover and minicam and later a website manager before studying the RHS horticulture diploma at Bristol Botanic Garden and Walled Gardens of Cannington. Being an avid hiker I love exploring mountains and woodland searching for plants, fungi and wildlife. Sharing my love of the natural world and environment; I'm particularly interested in finding plants in their natural habitat and gardening for wildlife and wellbeing.
