Biography

I run my own garden maintenance, plant advice and design business in North Somerset, working on a busy portfolio of country homes. I am a weekly contributor to Garden News magazine as part of the 'What to do in the garden this week' team and contribute regular, in-depth features. I am Features Editor for Plantsmith's Houseplant Advice & Care blog and present, film, produce and edit regular plant care videos. I write monthly features for Richard Jackson Garden as well as present, film, produce and edit weekly gardening advice videos. I have written for Modern Gardens, The RHS, Homes & Gardens, Countryfile, Ashridge Nurseries, gardening clubs, local and national magazines, newspapers and my website diary blog.

Additional Interests

After art college I studied graphic design and photography, graduating with a media degree specialising in documentary making. Becoming a PADI Divemaster lead to a television and film career specialising in underwater, undercover and minicams. From P.A. to website manager at the University of Bath, I studied RHS horticulture diploma at Bristol Botanic Garden and Walled Gardens of Cannington. I love hiking mountains and woodland searching for plants, fungi and wildlife. Sharing my love of wildlife, the natural world and environment. I'm particularly interested in finding plants in their natural habitat and gardening for wildlife and wellbeing.
