These regular, informal meetings, held via Zoom, are open to all members of the Guild.
We’re going to alternate between lunch times and early evenings for the GMG ‘coffee mornings’ and we’ll be inviting special guests for Ask Me Anything sessions about careers in gardening media. Our first GMG ‘Ask Me Anything Evening’ will be 1st May, 6.30pm, with GMG member Emma Crawforth, author of Things To Do With Plants, winner of the Peter Seabrook Practical Book of the Year 2023. She’s also Horticultural Editor of BBC Gardeners World magazine and has an Instagram following of 45K+. Bookings will be via the website, so come and ask Emma anything about her career in gardening media – you could pick up some invaluable tips. And you’ll also be able to ask the chair about any GMG or gardening media issues.
