Biography

Award winning garden and food writer, author, edible garden designer, journalist, homesteader, influencer and inspirational event host and speaker, Stephanie is one of the UK’s leading experts in sustainable, no dig gardening. In 2024 she was named as one of the top 100 leading women in horticulture. Stephanie is a feature writer for national and international publications, and brands, a content creator and delivers dynamic talks and workshops on growing your own and homesteading skills, in the UK and worldwide. Stephanie has presented and appeared on radio, TV and podcasts, including BBC Gardeners’ World. An experienced practical edible gardener, she worked for many years as a kitchen gardener in market gardens, on private estates including for Sir Cameron Macintosh, and for top restaurants, and in market gardens. She is currently setting up a new homestead in rural Wales.
