Biography

David Domoney is a Chartered Horticulturalist, Broadcaster, Author and celebrity speaker. He co-presents ITV1’s Love Your Garden alongside Alan Titchmarsh, which is is the most-watched gardening TV show in Britain today. David is also a regular contributor to ITV1's popular Sunday morning programme, Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh. David shares his expertise with the nation as the resident gardener on ITV1’s This Morning and as a gardening columnist for a number of UK national newspapers and Grow Your Own magazine. In 2021, David's book My Houseplant Changed My Life was published by DK Books, in which he shared his passion of indoor gardening and the mental and physical benefits houseplants provide. David was recently selected by HRH Prince Edward to receive the Award of Excellence in Horticulture. Over the course of his career, David has received more than 30 Royal Horticultural Society medals, including Chelsea Gold and Best in Show trophies. David has a large digital following with 3 million visits a year to his website (www.daviddomoney.com) and a social media audience of 400,000. David works in support of charities such as the RSPB, the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, Thrive, Greenfingers and SANE. He is celebrated for his promotion of community and youth gardening through his Young Gardeners of the Year competition (in association with the Prince’s Foundation) and his national gardening campaign, Cultivation Street. David regularly speaks at commercial and industry events, not only as a horticultural expert, but also as a motivational speaker. His speaking engagements have included Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Southport Flower Show, the Ideal Home Show and Ideal Home Christmas.
