Biography

I'm a beginner gardener from North East England, sharing my gardening journey online. I started gardening in 2021 when I moved into my first home and have been learning as I go. Inspired by my mum and grandmothers, and with a lifelong love of nature, I’ve found joy in creating a garden where both people and wildlife can thrive. I share practical, sustainable gardening tips for beginners through an approachable, modern lens — helping others feel confident, even with limited time or space. My background is in education and digital marketing, which has shaped how I communicate and connect with new gardeners online. I also enjoy writing for Garden Folk magazine and have worked with a range of gardening brands on content creation and collaborations. I aim to make gardening feel joyful, achievable, and a little more wild.

Additional Interests

In my spare time, I enjoy baking, especially with items from the garden or through foraging. I also volunteer at WWT Washington as a Living Collections Volunteer, where I look after our animals and maintain vegetation in enclosures.
