Recent work includes... Monthly column, ‘In a Country Garden’ for Country Homes & Interiors magazine. Regular panelist on BBC Radio Norfolk's The Garden Party until Spring 2020 when the world changed a bit! Candide contributor. Co-host and co-originator of The Restless Creatives Podcast. Tutor for Garden Masterclass. Occasional guest on the Talking Dirty podcast with the Get Gardening team. Speaker at the European Association of Flower Growers inaugural conference. I have been a passionate, self taught, amateur gardener all my adult life but working with flowers specifically began around 12 years ago. Since then, I have worked as a freelancing event florist, founded a floral design business, Moss & Stone, started an online flower school as well as teaching my garden style floral design in my home studio and garden to students from across the world. My work is embedded in seasonality and is imbued with the essence of wild overgrown British gardens. I only use locally grown flowers, many from my own cut flower patch. I see my relationship with the natural world and my use of it for artistic purposes to be intrinsic and symbiotic. Consequently, I am emphatically foam free and committed to environmentally sensitive floral and growing practices. I am a recognised leader of a new, empathetic and intentional way of designing with flowers. I am also a keen self taught photographer.
