Biography

Tony Le-Britton is an author, self-taught houseplant grower and prolific collector of some of the world’s rarest plants. Growing up in Newcastle, Tony was taught to garden as a child by his grandparents; his debut book is the culmination of 30 years of growing experience and plant knowledge. In 2020, he set up his Instagram account @notanotherjungle to share his passion for plants, advice on plant care, and stunning photography, and since then it has built up over 220,000 followers. Now living in Northamptonshire with his two dogs, Fig and Bow, in 2022 Tony opened his first shop, selling a plethora of popular and more unusual houseplants. National press features include Sunday Times, Mirror, and Metro, as well as radio and TV appearances, notably BBC Gardeners’ World. Tony is also one of the most celebrated hair and beauty photographers in the UK. His recent partnership the The RHS has seen him in a film series debunking common houseplant myths and giving fail proof advice to be successful with houseplants.
